| Hermione's compasses were originally created to be given to her close relationships in the Drabworld. Each item will had, initially, the same basic design; a palm sized compass on a chain looking more like a pocket watch with a button at the top to open it. Inside is the NWSE design but instead of pointing North the compass is spelled to point towards 'home' (be it Caer Scima, Caer Glaem, a person, etc). The Compasses are charmed with protective spells, to keep them from being damaged and are also charmed to point towards the wearer's 'home' in the Drabworld, wherever that might be; it all depends upon where the person regards as their home; it can be a place or a person depending on the owner. Each compass had different colours depending on who owned them and, once Hermione learned how to improve them, were 'recalled' so she could update the magic to be two-way (as the first set of magic Hermione used was limited). Characters that had compasses can have either a) kept them as they were or b) given them back to have them re-charmed as network tools. | ||

| They were improved after Hermione was given a book that taught her how to make her own personal networks; they are now capable of being used as two-way communication devices that can be used to access the ingame Drabworld network, regardless of court lock or shard signature. She can make anything into a tool for friends as long as it has a smooth, flat surface for videos; the downside is that the security of the networks themselves were, at least originally, an issue, but Hermione has been researching the means to overcome this. They are not less like compasses and more like simple communication tools. Note: during the timeskip any devices Hermione has made will still be active and useable! AS OF MAY, 2701: Seelie characters will be able to purchase any kind of network device they want from either Dorian Gray or Hermione Granger! As of May 2702 Unseelie characters that already owned a locket will be having their network usage monitored after Hermione found out that one had been stolen. If she finds out that they are being used to cause danger for the Seelie court they will be shut down! As of August 2702 all lockets have been charmed to not work and shut down if taken from the owner they are 'bonded' to through runic magic. When they shut down, the metal will turn into a kind of Leprechaun gold and become useless and disappear one day. PURCHASE OR TRADE: requested from Hermione; he can certainly pay and/or trade for it, depending on what she would prefer! HE WOULD REALIZE HE OWED HER FOR THIS >>
ETC: Faolan is requesting an entirely separate mirror network to distribute to his agents. He'd ask/is going to ask if they can be password-locked somehow, so that should they fall into the wrong hands they will just be mirrors without the right words uttered.
