I've a few other people I thought to ask as well: a smith, two who call themselves Musketeers, someone from my own home who was on my Council before. I would feel as though—as though there were something I were doing here that could make a difference.

That's the one. I haven't heard much about the things between the vampires and the elves, honestly, but I can imagine it's causing him a few bits of trouble. He cares about his people, a lot, and wants them safe. I can understand that. [ She pauses, pursing her lips and leaning back.

She thinks about other people - but she thinks Korra, John and Lancelot have enough on their plate. Most people she knows do, really, and she's determined to do what she can to help even if she has to do it alone. ] Maybe we can all gather together when we've arranged a few things and discuss it, sort out some things we want to do. Having a list of people is a good start, though.

That's one of the things that made me wish I had my Council here, to be honest. I didn't know what to believe—my cousin used to say I have the subtlety and people skills of a mountain. I know he cares about his people, but the vampires also...

Anyway. I don't know many places in the south, but I don't get lost. I can meet anywhere that might be safe and convenient.

Then we don't just need people that can help - we need people that can give us advice on all these situations. Then maybe we can start to create a system that brokers peace rather than fighting in battles. If we can do that, well... It might make this place easier for us all.

[ She shakes her head, thinking to herself. Lancelot might want to have a say, but if he's still leading the Seelie troops... ]

Knowledge of what horrors and injustices are occurring throughout the land so that we might stop them, provide a safe space for new people or even just travelers on the road. Though some of us may still need to fight.

I know people are angry about our presence, though not all of us had a choice; maybe there's a reason, someone behind it. A bad leader somewhere in the lands. New people who may be arriving, confused. If there are—if the timing is right from what I've seen, in the confusion of new people here away from their homes, we can meet. There's an old farmhouse by Loch Noa, though I've no idea if it has a fireplace. Bring extra layers, anyway.

[ she thinks warmth is the cause of hermione's fireplace concern rather than. magical transportation. ]

I've been talking with a few people about making some kind of universal hospital, too. If we can find neutral territory and a safe place for it then maybe we could work together to make something like that work and get off the ground. A council of sorts to help people and a hospital for healing and safety. Not everyone is going to be able to take part in the war without learning things or making sure they get weapons as boons and they're going to get hurt. It's inevitable.

[ She's getting a little passionate about this now, her voice steadying with determination. ]

We can meet at the farmhouse, then. The fireplace isn't really about warmth, though. If it has a fireplace then I can give people some powder that will help them teleport there just by stepping in and saying the name of the place. Useful, right?

[ she's breathless, almost, that hermione is not only accepting of her idea, but she's adding to it, supporting it. this is a sort of gratefulness that katsa hasn't often known. ]

A hospital. A shelter for people hurt and in trouble, in need of somewhere to rest or hide. My cousin would like that, were he here.

[ she takes breath and shakes her head. katsa's approaching the point after a few months of finally no longer feeling shocked at magical oddities, though she's sure there are more things to discover that will surprise her. ]

That's a little too useful. [ but there's a smile in her voice. ] I think there's an old one there, but I'll double check it and send you the exact location. Does it have to be a fireplace? Can it work if someone merely built a fire, in the middle of their camp?

[ Once Hermione finds something to be passionate about her dedication to it is near endless; she is as stubborn as she is smart and it's impossible to deny. ]

Then it's something we ought to do. I'll speak to a few people and maybe we can set something up.

[ She's already scrabbling for paper, writing some notes, thinking who might be a good addition. Kelsi, of course, perhaps her friend, maybe Remus could help... ]

I haven't tried it, honestly, but it might be a little dangerous. If you showed me a picture or a video I might be able to apparate, though - teleport.

[ the teleporting is actually among the least strange of things, or at least katsa's just had some time to get used to the idea. ]

I'll send you the information you need, along with an estimate of how many people to expect from my side and when. It should be soon. I expect all this scouting and arming among the courts isn't just talk.

That sounds wonderful, thank you. If there's anything you need me to bring then I'll make sure I have it with me - potions, books, that sort of thing. I have a bit of a collection now.

[ The sound of papers stop and Hermione's voice softens. ]

To begin at least all that's likely to be necessary is a book to write things down.

[ she fidgets. ]

It just seemed right, to ask you. That you would think it worth doing.

[ though she doesn't really know hermione, though they'd only spoken once, that conversation had been enough. she'd been pushed into thinking about the council then, after all, so she hadn't even really considered anyone other than hermione being her first to ask. ]

I have a notebook and some ink, I'll bring those. I have a few ideas that I'll write down and bring too, if that sounds okay.

[ Hermione pauses, touched, before she glances away. It's not a video feel but she feels a flush of embarrassment all the same. ]

I'm really touched. It means a lot to me that you'd consider me for something like this, really.

[ It does mean a lot to her. To have someone think that she's worthy of something like this is... Good. It's amazing. ]

[ she's a little awkward and embarrassed as well ]
