Oh, sorry, she! She.

[ Hermione nods and wraps her arm around Harry and, a little leery of apparating with the bird, focuses on them and turns, twisting until they've left with a pop and landed in the barren living room of her new house. ]

Home sweet home?

[ The bird has no difficulty being apparated and once they've relocated, flies off to explore the house. ]

[ He hugs her once more as he takes in the empty room. ]

A bit minimal, but not everything can be covered with gold brocade. Not yet, anyway.

[ She pauses, tilting her head. ]

Of course, but it'll take some work to get the grounds in as well.

[ He doesn't question her decision in the least. It's a good plan to have somewhere safe from all the madness out there. ]

I expect so. It'll be good once it's done and I've set everything up. I can even have a little library and a potions room!

[ She glances over, then. ]

[ Harry is interested, but he also really just wants to soak up all her enthusiasm. ]

[ Hermione opens her ever-present bag and digs out her little notebook, skimming through pages of writing before she finds the one she's looking for, holding it out before, after a moment's hesitation, she smiles and decides it might be best to try and give him an overview instead of the entire thing. ]

The first one is the longest and needs chalk, a golden bowl and the morning. It hides the item in the water with belladonna flowers and we have to replace the flowers each season - it also constantly drains the magic of whoever does it. We can only do it one time, too.

[ She turns the page, looking more pensive. ]

This is the one I want to do. We need to make a circle of mirrors so that they reflect the light of dawn and then get a rosewood pedestal to set the object. We drip some blood onto it and chant so the item will be trapped in the mirrors.

The second one does sound a bit more secure, but at the same time, the cost of the first one is easier to see.

[ Harry worries about Hermione in all the ways he should be concerned for himself. Even he's not hypocritical enough to point out that there's blood used in one of the rituals.]

What do you need me to do? How can I help?

I need the mirrors, and a place where dawn can hit them, of course. Then, obviously, I'll need one of the objects too so I can actually hide it.

[ She hesitates a little, pausing, before she looks down at her notes. ]

I'll also be in a coma for a week.

[ He makes a little worried sound in the back of his throat and frowns. ]

I can get you the sigil whenever you're ready, but you'll need more than me to guard you during that time. Who else do you have in mind?

I - maybe John? I'm sure he wouldn't mind. I could ask Luke, too, maybe.

[ She'd ask Korra, really, or Mako and Bolin, but she's not sure how tied up they all want to get in something related to Alyosha. ]

[ Harry pauses, unsure what to say next. ]

He and the Brucolac stayed with me when I did a rite.

[ From the other room, there's a rustle of feathers. ]

Waver is lovely! I definitely wouldn't mind, if he wanted to.

[ Hermione smiles, breathing out and reaching for Harry's hand. ]

I'll be fine. Really.

There isn't really all that much to see right now. Just this and an upstairs with a few empty rooms...

[ She shakes her head. ]

[Harry doesn't mind leaning against Hermione wherever they are -furniture or not. As far as he's concerned, they can just sit on the floor.]

I'm still half asleep, and I'm afraid that if I tried to do any magic, I'd just croak.

[ He leans on her and Hermione smiles, drawing Harry against her with a gentle touch to his side. ]

Then we should take a nap and plan things later.
