THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE
thanks to her ventures in the drabwurld, hermione now has a handsome set of scars on her face. along her left side, from her eyebrow down across her cheek to just above her mouth and jawline, is a rather thin and precise scar that marrs her face; the scar itself seems to glint silver in the light. the rest are along her jawline and down against her neck, colouring her skin with silvery marks, thick enough to show claws. she also has a red marking on the front of her hand, signifying her status as a fate/ master. anyone seeing her without a jumper on will note a series of dalish tattoos covering her shoulders and her back, a gift from nasrin lavellan.

MAGICAL TALENT
known as the 'brightest witch of her age', hermione's magical talent is impressive even to people in her world. she is adept with many different forms and has learned to adapt to what a situation calls for to the best of her ability. considered a borderline genius, hermione's talent often impressed and outmatched everyone in her year.

NON-VERBAL/WANDLESS MAGIC
the first person in her year to master non-verbal magic, hermione quickly became capable of mastering unspoken incantations for a wide variety of spells; she also proved herself capable of a range of wandless spells, likely one of the first in her year group to do so. during her time in the drabwurld, hermione worked on this talent and became adept at both sections of magic, proving herself to be dangerous and practical when necessary.

DUELLING
in her own world, hermione was an awkward combatant and was not particularly adept at duelling with no real training. practical experience in the drabwurld has taught her to be more adaptable and talented when it comes to duelling, both magically and non-magically. with tutoring from the best duelling masters in the world itself, hermione honed her talents particularly well. her style is somewhat adaptive, a mixture of offensive and defensive spells with non-combat orientated magic and carefully done rapier skills.

POTIONEERING
proving herself a 'know-it-all' early on, she showed herself more than capable of handling difficult potions at a young age (she brewed a very advanced potion in her second year of school). hermione was one of only twelve students to go on to study potions long term in school and was the only one in her sixth year class to understand some more complicated potion theory. tied with this is her knowledge of herbology, another class she received an 'outstanding' grade in, and learned and memorised the uses of multiple plants.

in the drabwurld, hermione's talent in potions developed all the more, being used as a means to protect her friends and take care of her allies, as well as make money for herself before she earned a steady income.

APPARATION
first in her class to apparate successful, hermione's performance was 'perfect' and heavily praised by their instructor. while hunting for Horcruxes, hermione was the main 'apparator' of the three and proved herself capable of multiple journeys of different lengths.

LIONESS TRANSFORMATION
as a boon for aiding the seelie queen solais, hermione was granted the ability to transform into a beautiful white lioness with wings. in that form, she is more instinctual than she is human, though she retains most of her mind, and she gains the ability to fly. this is the only power she gained in the drabwurld that continues to work on the fleet.

HAND TO HAND
while hermione was being trained in duelling and archery, she realised that her hand to hand combat skills were lacking. with help from her friends, she learned basics in self-defence and how to take care of herself, using her size and speed as her main focus.

into the past

INVESTIGATION OF REDGATE
asked by korra to help with the revival of a dragon spirit, hermione used her research skills to help learn more about alyosha and redgate. they travelled together and were offered rooms, but were told that their mission was essentially law-breaking. hermione, for her part, opted to stay back since her magic was useless (blood granite) and ended up being imprisoned as korra and the rest of the group made their charge; she was then taken into 'custody' by ganondorf on behalf of the unseelie court.

CARRIER OF A SIGIL
harry informed her about the sigils and asked hermione to research some means of protecting the powerful magical objects. hermione found two spells to perform and used one herself, locking the sigil away in a mirror. after reynard's demise, the seelie queen asked hermione to hand over her sigil and she did so, starting her on a new quest to find more. after completing the quest, hermione passed the information along to the seelie marshall. hermione then met alyosha at the truen tournament and was challenged to a duel for her honour; after yielding to aly hermione was cut on her face, from brow down her cheek, and told to practice with the professional duellists that alyosha would send to the citadel.

DEFENCE OF CAER GLAEM
with the news of what had happened at caer scima, and how her sigil had been used, heavy on hermione's shoulders she travelled back to caer glaem with rizhao, the seelie dragon, at her side. intending on making sure the baby came out of the battle alive she defended the castle with all her strength before using her enchanted dog statue to make sure that rizhao escaped while she distracted the attacking jabberwock. cullen saved her from being taken down by the creature and with some swift healing from ben hawkins and john grimm hermione came out alive. once she was healed and things had calmed down, hermione went to visit the seelie marshal for advice on how to approach the monarchs about the issue of her sigil, which she did in the audience at the beginning of 2701.

A ROAD TO TREUN
as given to her by seelie marshal lancelot, hermione picked up from where shardholder sigrid had left off in planning and developing a road between caer glaem and treun. she contacted sansa stark, known friend of sigrid, who directed her towards lady lucrezia of treun. it was lucrezia who gave her support. after sending letters to cullen, aveline, bolin and lavellan, hermione began her journey and succeeded in persuading builders, traders and tavernkeepers to her side.

AIDING LEATHANN
after the void began to sneak closer with the return of the monarchs people on leathann began to rise up, abandoning their homes and beginning to leave, echoing with anti-seelie sentiments. hermione travelled over to attempt to help protect the refugees and offer as much support as she could even if they rejected her hand. with the help of the fae and the use of great deal of magic, hermione was able to help lift leathann into the air and save it from the void.

CURSE OF THE TRUE NAME
after promising to aid one of her friends on a quest, hermione travelled to the house of a character named the "man-eater" by all those that spoke to him. unfortunately, during their untimely stop at their house she managed to be the one that irritated the man beyond belief whilst also giving up her actual name to him. he then cursed her, and her friends, with something dreadful: 'you can eat and live, but all food turns to ash in your mouth. you gain no pleasure, no fullness, and in time even that shall fade and you will lose even the nourishment of food. you who turned away a meal freely given will starve in a full pantry. you can sleep, but you will not dream, nor will you find true rest. as your body and mind eat themselves, you will become thin, weak, and mad. you will learn fear, if you have not yet learned respect. you will twitch and jump at your own shadow.' she lived with that curse until she travelled through time.

TRAVEL THROUGH TIME
as a secret member of the mercenary group known as the 'red hand', hermione took part in a mission to save the drabwurld from the oncoming void. she helped pass information towards the leaders of the group - one of which was her father, john grimm - and when the time came, she used herself as bait to make sure that they weren't stopped. at the decoy ritual site, hermione used spells to trick people into thinking it was the true site in order to allow the others to succeed. by doing so, they were able to reunite the giant gem that was part of the drabwurld itself. by doing so, they were given the choice to go home and those that did not travelled back in time thousands of years, given the chance to prevent the outbreak of war before it occurred and stop the void from destroying everything.
