You've mentioned once before that there are different ranges of magic. I believe you talked about transfiguration and divination. I would like to know more of your fields of study.
Divination wasn't my field of study. [ Ugh. While her views might have relaxed after meeting people who actually had some kind of real talent, it still wasn't something she put much faith in. ] I went to school where I was taught Transfiguration, Charms, defensive magic, potion making, Herbology and how to translate runes.
Charms was my favourite. I enjoyed being able to have magic that was useful inside and outside of school - not that the others weren't useful, of course. It all depends on where you are.
In some cases, yes. There is duelling magic as well. [ But, oh, she does enjoy talking about school. ] I think perhaps how useful they are, and how much they range, and learning them isn't always as easy as it might seem.
Magic in itself is hardly as easy as some make it seem. What are some of your favorite charms? I must also insist you share about dueling magic. I've an image in my mind of what that may look like.
There are people that find some areas harder than others, of course, but all magic takes work. [ Hermione pauses, considering - it's a difficult question. ] My favourite charm is Avis. It summons canaries - and duelling magic is something I could show you, one day. I learned a little.
[ They're not there and it's hard to tell when that will be. It took a great deal for him to openly hug Leilani, and she had the unfair advantage of knowing him before she even got here. ]
Whatever you feel is best. I assume we're to go through the finer points of your enchantments. [ He's just going to make a seat for himself on a crate, crossing his legs and waiting. ]

[ Which he's okay with, he's great and they're both intellectual, so it can only end in good things. ]

Manifestations, of a sort, but they still feel real.

You'll have to show me that one, as well.

Hi, Dorian. What would you like to see first?
[ She would suggest moving elsewhere but the cargo bay might be the safest, honestly... ]
