THE LIONESS' QUEST BOARD (OPEN)

Hermione is ranked at five stars, Lioness Courant, Sorceress of Caer Glaem and a Marchioness of the White Citadel. As a part of the Seelie leadership she can offer and assign quests to anyone that is part of the Seelie court or shardless; her focus is generally on research, Shard magic, aiding the Natives and protection and defence. IN ORDER TO TAKE A QUEST: Double check the FAQ/Rules and then comment on this post saying which quest you'd like to take (just so people can see what is claimed if the page isn't updated)! Once you've heard back from me you will need to go to the Quest Request page and fill out the 'PC Quest Request' form and wait for mod approval. I will PM you relevant OOC information if necessary and you can go ahead and do your log! All quests can be done together or alone, but only your word count will count towards your required quest count. You have thirty days OOCly to complete the quest and each character can only take one quest each month! Once you have completed your quest reply to your comment or send me a message so I can update the page and make sure that we finish up any loose ends. You can then reply to your comment on the quest page with the links!

NAN BARAD

QUEST RANK: ★ DESCRIPTION: With war on the horizon and dangerous lurking throughout the Drabwurld, Hermione wants someone to make sure that all the runes and defences at both the Citadel and Caer Glaem proper are secure and in place. REQUIREMENTS: This quest will require someone to travel to both Caer Glaem and the White Citadel, checking the runes and the enchantments to make sure that everything that is in place is still in working order, strengthening it if they have the means to from their own world. 1.5k of writing is required. REWARD: Shard lessons, should the character not yet be capable of using their shard. Otherwise, Hermione will offer a portkey to one location in the Drabwurld that can be used once a day. IN THE WAKE OF RUIN

QUEST RANK: ★★ DESCRIPTION: Hermione has a series of native alliances in Treun that are set to report to her and inform her of any dangers. Since the attack on the grain caravans early in August, both Ryia and Duraina have reported unrest and some discontentment from some of the people they've spoken to. She would ask that someone travel to Treun, check in with her friends and see what can be done to help the natives. REQUIREMENTS: Repeatable quest (more than one person can take it!) Write 3k words of your character offering their aid and assistance to Treun! This can be in promoting justice (helping the guards, enforcing law, patrolling the roads, etc), protection (stopping bandits and other thieves) or helping refugees (bringing food, offering assistance in travel and relocating). Hermione's Treun-based NPCs can be offered on request, and there is a requirement for at least one other PC interaction. REWARD: Funds to complete any tasks the quester undertakes in Treun, positive reputation in Treun, a set of enchanted items and a commission for a weapon or set of armour from the Caer Glaem armoury. FLIES WITH HONEY

QUEST RANK: ★★★ DESCRIPTION: A Seelie spy is travelling south from Caer Scima with information on the Unseelie plans that she hopes to bring to the Citadel as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there have been rumours of the Unseelie discovering the spy and sending others out to capture her before she manages to make it back to Caer Glaem. Your duty will be to attempt to find and defend the spy before the Unseelie can take and capture her, returning her to the Citadel or Caer Glaem with as little injury as possible or return information she has found to the relevant parties. REQUIREMENTS: Taking this quest will require writing a 4.5k word log of your characters finding and defending the spy to the best of their ability, and may also be taken as a team quest. At three stars, not only will it be PC versus PC, but it will require two additional PCs (one of which may well be the Unseelie attacker) and may also include some NPCing by myself or the Unseelie quest giver. Information about what the spy will have discovered will be given through the thread itself. This quest comes with a chance of failure! REWARD: 10 gold marks, even if the quest is a failure. If the quest is a success, you will also recieve a commission for a weapon of your choice from the Seelie Armoury, a trained war hound for battle and a bracelet with runes for protection and magic amplification. MAGIC THE GATHERING EMMA SWAN | LOG | ★ While great leaps have been made into working to learn about native magic by all kinds of Shardbearers (often with native assistance!) there is always need for a little more, especially when it comes to defence and protection. Hermione will ask for someone to do some research into protection that can be used in battle and could be offered to the natives as a show of Shardbearer kindness! ARACHNOPHOBIA KIREI KOTOMINE | LOG | ★ Giant spiders, especially the hunters, have been roving around to the north of Glaschu, coming out from their caves and causing a bit of bother to the natvies around the area. Hermione would ask that the quest taker would go and deal with the spiders, fighting them back to their homes and setting up defences to protect the villages from any more attacks. CHASING PAVEMENTS DRACO | LOG | ★ The road between Caer Glaem and Treun was engineered thanks to Hermione's work and she would see that it is protected, no matter what! There have been some cases of bandit attacks and dangers along the quieter parts of the pathway - Hermione would like to see the bandits dealt with and protection put into place. GLASCHU INFERNO RIKU | LOG | ★ With the death of the Pyrrii and the loss of fire magic, a new God was born into the world - but he's still a baby and needs a little bit of support! Go around areas Glaschu setting up a handful of shrines for Kaio and leaving offerings for him in order to give him a little more strength and support. GATHER ME UP, SCOTTY GABRANTH | LOG | ★ As one of the co-owners of Artefaca, which provides potions and healing to anyone that might need it, Hermione has to keep up a steady supply of potions ingredients and is more than happy to send someone out on a quest to gather some in exchange for rewards and rank. GOING POSTAL SEBASTIAN VAEL | LOG | ★ As the delegate in charge of the road, Hermione wants to make it as productive as possible. This means making it a useful tool for communication as well; set up a series of postbox like posts along the road for notes, information and letters to be passed along to guardsmen and traders! These boxes are not intended for private communication, of course, more of a means of passing along useful hints - such as "herbs to the east" or "bandits ahead"! SHARDBEARER BATTLES ASAMI SATO | LOG | ★ There's a great deal of information about historic battles between Shardbearers in the Caer Glaem library. Hermione would ask that someone go to the library and investigate these battles and take notes on their research to discover as much information as they can about the battles themselves. TOWER OF THE ORACLE JUUSHIROU UKITAKE | LOG | ★ There are records of Shardbearers at the Tower of the Oracle in Leathann that Hermione would like investigated with a written report. Information found at the Tower will lend itself to learning about the power of shards and battle legends, as well as records of historic shardbearer battles. SHARD AND THE WORLD VERITY WILLIS | LOG | ★ In the library at the University there is a dissertation that speculates on the relationship between shards and the worlds that bear them. Hermione would like someone to go to the University and research this dissertation to see what information can be discovered and report back to her with notes. It's difficult to find information about them, but it's understood that libraries and universities, or criminal circles, are likely to hold their worshippers. This quest will have Hermione asking someone to find out information about the Secret and the Whisperer (in the universities and in crime circles) in order to track them down to try and discover information about the history of the Drabwurld and Shard use. JUSTICE FOR TREUN KENNY | LOG | ★★ Some less than pleasant things have been happening in Treun of late, and as once Lioness of the Path (the one that she built between Caer Glaem and Treun proper) Hermione would like to see some help given to the town, be it protection, justice or support for the refugees and townsfolk.

IN THE NORTH there have been a spate of bandit attacks on refugees attempting to move and find a place to settle. In the wake of the bloodshed, creatures have slipped out of the forests to take advantage of the loss of life and the life that stains the ground; waist-height Redcaps, cousins of the goblin, have been trampling the bodies and sharpening their axes on lost supplies. Prone to attacking without provocation, they're dangerous creatures that will die once their cap loses it's colour.

DESCRIPTION: Go north and find the abandoned caravans, the dead refugees and the dangerous Redcaps and kill them before they can go on to kill more innocent bystanders in the war. Killing all the Redcap isn't necessary, but the more that are killed and kept away from more traders and natives the better the reward will be.
REQUIREMENTS: Write a 1.5k log of Robb heading north and taking on the Redcaps! He may use whatever means he has at his disposal. A danger to Seelie, Unseelie, Shardless and Native, urging them away from the main roads and placing defences would also be welcome.

Along with his eagerness to help in any way he can in general, that cheerful, selfless nature. He wants to find some way to help, to learn more about Drabwurld and it's history and magic, the magic and stories from other worlds too. He'd absolutely be willing to meet with Hermione again in person to talk about the Quest or pretty much almost anything. (Because lbr anyone that speaks to him once and doesn't try attack is clearly instant bff material with this kid.)

He's also a combatant, capable of healing and other magic (though sans Fire, and weakened still here in Drabwurld yet). He could still do some research, he'd probably be curious and engaged enough depending on the topic at hand, if it interests him.
- ★ CHARACTER WEAKNESSES: Jumping in without having the full story and context is a Thing with Sora that often gets him in over his head, that ability to bff and forgive with second chances can also backfire on him a lot. As for fears, there's being alone, the Darkness, the Heartless, losing his friends, something happening to them and being unable to help. But more than that, he's not necessarily also the smartest either. (That. Is actually Goofy in his bff trio he travels with, surprisingly.) It's not that he's stupid. It's just some things simply fly over his head with how naive and oblivious he can be at times.
- ★ LONG TERM GOALS: None majorly off of the top of my head at present, actually. I mean, barring training and improving his combat skills, his magic. Befriending everyone ever. I mean, probably ending looking into some alternate options outside of letting the worlds die. Regardless of them being reborn because Keyblade wielders are all about protecting the worlds. Even if there is also rumors on the destruction they can bring as well. That's not Sora's aim or intentions. He'd probably also be happy to teach others what magic and fighting skills he knows if anyone asks, idk if that might end up being more an official thing or not down the line.

THE STUDY OF SHARDS has been an ongoing topic of Hermione's research, and she's beginning to think she's scraped the bottom of the barrel when it comes to actual study. She would ask that Sora go to Caer Glaem and the library and find out whatever information on shards, their history and shard magic he can discover and, if he has the inclination, use what he learns to write some kind of mini-essay on the power of shards and what the consequences of this might be. If he doesn't feel like doing homework, of course, Hermione will accept the fact that he's done the research at all to be more than satisfactory!

DESCRIPTION: Head to the Caer Glaem library and use any resources available to research shards, their histories and any and all battles that might once have used shards as weapons. It doesn't matter if Hermione already knows the information - it's getting it and learning yourself that's important!
REQUIREMENTS: Write a 1.5k log of Sora doing his research in the library! All information will be given OOCly and used however you'd like; other PCs may be involved in the quest but they will not count towards the total word count. Minor NPCs may be involved and self-written. We can also discuss what he would like as a reward OOCly!
