I haven't had any unfortunate misfires, thankfully, but I'm sure it's entirely likely to happen.

All you'll need is something with a flat surface, so you can record the video, big enough for however large you'd like the video to be. I use compasses and whatever other items people bring me, so it's very much up to personal direction.
