Watching Harry turn, Hermione's eyes flicker around, here and there, and she breathes out and shakes her head. Of course Harry can transform just as much as she can, of course he has that kind of power, Harry has always has been one of the best and most powerful wizards she had ever met. It's a little more awkward than her transformation into a lioness, though, and she imagines it's a little painful.

Though, instead of looking entirely happy to see him, she shakes her head.

"I'm not going to hit you, Harry. I don't have any reason to." She turns her head away, ashamed of the mark on her face, forcing her eyes elsewhere. She doesn't want him to look at her scar, to see how guilty she still feels even as the relief settles around her shoulders. She doesn't recognise herself anymore and she's scared he won't either.
